As a Software Developer you will join our development team and play a key role in the development of our technology and mobile game projects. You will thrive on working with the brightest and most creative minds and have an unabashed passion for the hands-on development of mobile games.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Playing a key role in the design and development of Fuse's leading-edge software products and features.
• Participating hands-on in our product development from concept to implementation and support.
• Working with other development team members to ensure technology delivery, feature compliance and integration of solutions into our product libraries.
• Reviewing existing products for performance bottlenecks, efficiency gains and best-practice improvements for both code development and usability.
• Ensuring that all system changes are properly documented and implemented according to change control procedures.

Your Professional Qualification will include

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Development Languages: Strong knowledge of PHP and other scripting languages. In addition you should have experience with one of C++, Objective-C or Java.
• SQL Experience: MySQL database knowledge preferred, other SQL knowledge is an asset.
• Industry Experience: Five or more years experience developing a variety of leading edge technology solutions including the ability to operate in an agile and dynamic market, adapting to emergent business opportunities
• Analytical and Planning Abilities: Solid judgement skills when working on problem situations in order to minimize the negative impact or exposure to our environment while taking into account technical and business impacts.
• Innovation: An ability to develop and present creative new ideas and solutions including a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Results Orientation: Self-motivated with strong results orientation including the ability to work independently and in a team environment to achieve objectives.
• Communication Skills: The ability to communicate with the application development team, balancing the short and long term impact of design and implementation decisions

Location

This position is downtown in Toronto, along the subway corridor. There will be an opportunity to telecommute when appropriate.
